The idea of commercialising the VIP system was awarded first prize in the Teaching and Research Staff/Research Group category of the 27th edition of the Spin-Off competition of the University of Malaga.

The prize, awarded on 13 July 2023, consists of:

• An incubation period in an office of Espacio LINK by UMA-Atech (valued at €3,000) during the 2023/2024 academic year.
• A training plan (Polaris Academy Programme), which aims at the acquisition and development of personal, interpersonal and business skills by the team promoting the projects through an experiential system (valued at €3,000).
• A mentoring plan through the Polaris Mentoring programme (valued at €3,000).
• A communication and dissemination plan for the company's activity (valued at €1,000).
• A cash prize of €6,000, subject to the creation of a technology-based company.

In addition, several media echoed the prize awarded: Sala de Prensa de la Universidad de Málaga, Málaga Hoy, Diario Sur, Nova Ciencia, El Español, La Vanguardia, Cadena Ser, Diario de Málaga, La Noción y Revista Lugar de Encuentro.
