The removal of vital pulp from the crown of the tooth only. It is most commonly carried out on primary teeth where there is pulp exposure but the tooth is asymptomatic or shows signs of reversible pulpitis.

Los gérmenes de los incisivos laterales estaban bien posicionados, pero situados ligeramente más bajos que los centrales. Se recomienda que le realicen la pulpotomía del incisivo central superior derecho temporal.
